We always love to get this particular A Brandt Ranch Oak carved bed to offer to our clients for sale. It is in Wichita, Kansas, so an easy trip up from Texas for personal pick up.

It is the light oak color with nice white wax details, which shows off the carved cactus and desert landscape to perfection. The bed is complete with both headboard and footboard, and the original bed rails. This bed can be made queen length with no problem, but you cannot use the double bed rails then, you have to go to a good furniture store and buy the rails that will adjust this bed to queen size. A queen mattress is 6" longer and 6" wider than a double mattress. So, when the bed is made up, you absolutely cannot tell it was a double bed made into a queen. A Brandt did not start making queen sized beds until they got popular in the 1960's.
