Yahoo === found in Boulder, the avant garde area of Colorado - this wonderful pair of branded Monterey chairs, in the dark finish and that very heavy wood the Mason Company used for furniture in the 1930's. These chairs are utterly original - never touched, except by time. The iron accents are wonderful - and I have tried to show all of them in the photographs. The leather seats are in all but mint condition. No scuffs, tears, oopsies anywhere. Just a wonderful pair - if you collect the dark Monterey furniture these are for you! There is no painted decoration on either chair.

The arms are sort of paddle shaped, and supported by iron rods. All of the iron has been hand wrought, of course. Underneath the chairs, between the legs, the stretchers are also iron. There are iron straps, and buttons. This pair of chairs would go great with the Keyhole bedroom set that we sold, but I left on our web site.

Measurements: 35" tall - 17" seat width - Seat depth: 16 1/2" - Floor to seat 18"- Width, including the arms is 27"

Anyway, here's the deal. Take both - the price quoted is for the pair. We would have them boxed up and shipped via HDL Ground to you, and the buyer pays for this and the insurance. These chairs are very, very heavy - though they are not very large. I wouldn't call them dainty, however. They could be used as host and hostess chairs at the dining room table, or side chairs, or desk chairs!
