This is Tom's latest creation for a client who built a lovely log home in Story, Wyoming. Probably, he will never build another one, but it really sets this home off in a wonderful way!

For sure, it is a one of a kind application, and took nearly a year to complete, from picking out the gnarly fir gnarls, hand stripping them, hand sanding each and every one, measuring each and every one to fit the hand rails, hand sizing each end to fit the holes in the log rails, hand staining and then lacquering, and hand sanding each one to perfection. It was a huge, huge job, and one that Tom accomplished with great pride. Having never done a stair railing of any kind before, even I, his wife, am totally impressed with what he has made to set off our friends' home so beautifully.
