We have made desks for several clients - all of them big and very heavy. The Applebee's desk is an L shape, and has a topper put on the desk so that it works like a "bar" on which the visitor can put his daytimer, or just rest his/her elbows! These 1/2 log desks make a very western statement in the office area! Put a comfortable leather swivel chair with them, a green glass shaded lamp, and a garter on your sleeve, and you are ready to feel like you are back in the 1890's in the historic west!
